Affordable Mummy Makeover Surgery

While cost isn’t the only factor to take into consideration when looking for affordable mummy makeover surgery, it’s certainly an important consideration.  A mummy makeover is one of the more expensive options because it involves two, sometimes three procedures (tummy tuck, breast enlargement and breast uplift).

Here in the UK, the cost of a mummy makeover will usually differ from practice to practice by only a few hundred pounds.  The cost usually depends on the qualifications and experience of the plastic surgeon who will carry out your procedure.

Here at Manchester Plastic Surgery, our mummy makeover treatments are carried out by Mr James Murphy.  While we offer affordable mummy makeover packages, we are certainly not the cheapest.

The cost reflects the first-class care we offer here at The Spire Hospital in Manchester, and Mr Murphy’s extensive experience as a specialist in plastic surgery.  Mr Murphy graduated from medical school in 1992 and spent his early career as a plastic and reconstructive surgeon in the NHS.  In 2002 he was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal Collect of Surgeons in Plastic Surgery.

A mummy makeover procedure at Manchester Plastic Surgery will cost in the region of £11,000 though the exact price will depend on the extent of your treatment.  For example, it may be possible to improve the appearance of the stomach by performing a partial abdominoplasty, rather than a full tummy tuck.  Equally, it may be possible to improve the breasts with a breast uplift, though you may have to have a breast uplift as well as a breast enlargement to achieve your desired result.

There are, of course, always cheaper alternatives.  You don’t have to look far to find worrying headlines about people who go abroad for cheap plastic surgery, only to suffer with complications afterwards or even find their operations are botched.

The truth is that plastic surgery is like most things in life – you get what you pay for.

If you can get a procedure carried out in another country significantly cheaper than here in the UK, then it’s likely that the standards of care are significantly different.
