What’s involved in rhinoplasty surgery?
Rhinoplasty involves making two small incisions within your nose to be able to re-shape and correct your identified concerns. Sections of cartilage and bone can be sculpted to change the appearance of any aspect of your nose – from tip to bridge, though the details of your procedure will vary depending on your desired results.
Rhinoplasty usually takes one to two hours under general anaesthetic and involves an overnight stay at our state-of-the-art Spire Hospital Manchester. During recovery, you should expect to experience swelling and bruising, which will begin to subside after three or four days. This can usually be expected to settle completely after a couple of weeks.
